This will forever remain a secret location, as I will never tell anyone how to find their way to this spot. I'm not selfish, I just don't know where it is. I can't get back there, myself!
On this day of shooting, I was riding with James Volosin (a pro from Austin) and taking advantage of being able to look at everything that was not a road sign. Fortunately, I believe I was able to take advantage of the scene he found, so I don't worry about getting back there - except that I really want to find my way back. This was one special location.
I no longer have the telephoto I used for this shot, as it was stolen along with the camera used. In fact, I seldom used that lens. But, I have a memory preserved because I had it on the night I needed it. As much as I love this cityscape in color, this mono version is one that I consider to be one of my finer efforts.

A special thanks to Ron and Sharon Mouser as they invited me to shoot from the bucket of Lubbock's Ladder Truck #1 at the Cowboy Symposium in 2018.
