It is easy, from watching TV shows about the old west, to think of the Chuckwagon as simply the place cowhands got their meals. Actually, this old wagon was much, much more. It actually served as restaurant, hospital, general store, and supply wagon for just about everything needed on the trail.
Given the opportunity to shoot from Ladder Truck #1 at the Cowboy Symposium, I could not resist taking this shot looking down the ladder as we descended. It may not be that interesting to other people, but for me - it's unique and certainly memorable. To tell the truth, every time I see it, I get a rush that I even had the opportunity.

A special thanks to Ron and Sharon Mouser as they invited me to shoot from the bucket of Lubbock's Ladder Truck #1 at the Cowboy Symposium in 2018.
